Diamond Engravers have invested in state-of-the-art cold marking technology, like the cool laser systems used in the medical industry. Our system light with a 355 nm short wavelength to process materials through a photochemical process known as "cold marking". Unlike infrared (fiber) or CO2 lasers that use heat to melt or vaporize surfaces, our system uses photons to carry enough energy to directly break molecular bonds, resulting in a high contrast mark with minimal thermal damage, no charring, no deformation of the substrate.
CORE TEHNCIAL CHARACTERISTICS:
• Wavelength: Operates at 355 nm, achieved via "frequency tripling" where a 1064 nm infrared beam passes through nonlinear crystals.
• Precision: The short wavelength allows for a focused beam spot 3-4 times smaller than diode or conventional lasers, enabling micro-scale detailing and nanometer-level accuracy for stunning engraving results on leather, fabric, glass, wood, plastics, in fact virtually any organic product even fruit and leaves
• Cold Processing: Because it does not rely on thermal energy, there is virtually no "heat-affected zone" (HAZ), preventing issues like warping, cracking, or charring in delicate materials.
